The centre of the city is the Brunnenplatz with its pump room and the Hylligen Born, the main spring of the health resort. From here the historical main avenue, the oldest spa gardens of the world extends to the south. It ends in the lower watercourse where the EXPO-project AQUA Bad Pyrmont picks the course of life out as a central topic “From the birth up to old age.”

The spa gardens with their baroque avenues and the palm garden has become a visitor magnet; numerous open air events take place here annually.

The Hufeland Therme offers a generous bath scenery with an inside and an outside basin, filled with warm brine. Mineral water benches, massage nozzles and a current canal provide for relaxation. The sauna scenery with sauna garden and different possibilities is attractive for the sauna fan.
